Global calligraphy Vienna Diversity of Calligraphy

 

Anlässlich des Internationalen Tages der Muttersprache lädt Global Calligraphy Vienna in Kooperation mit der United Nation Arab Staff Association UNASA zu einem Vortrag über

“Sprechen und Schreiben in eigenen und anderen Sprachen” es spricht Frau Mag. Dr. Nadja Kerschhofer-Puhalo – Institut für Sprachwissenschaft / Universität Wien

Der Internationale Tag der Muttersprache wird alljährlich am 21.2. gefeiert .  Auf Vorschlag der UNESCO wurde der Welttag im Jahr 2000 von den Vereinten Nationen ausgerufen, um an die Bedeutung der Muttersprache als Ausdruck der kulturellen Identität zu erinnern. Die UNESCO betont damit die wichtige Bedeutung des muttersprachlichen Unterrichts für eine inklusive Bildung.

Global calligraphy Vienna

The Global calligraphy Vienna is an international  non-profit Art association based in Vienna – Austria committing its activities to practice and preserve the beauty of calligraphy. It promotes not only western calligraphy but the study, practice and teaching of calligraphy and related disciplines of other languages.

The main idea behind the Global calligraphy Vienna is to establish a point for calligraphy lovers in Austria where calligraphist can discuss and share their ideas and thoughts but  also encourages them to exchange these ideas through regular meetings, workshops, group exhibitions and connecting with other international calligraphy association.

The association is a charity registered with the Austrian Association Commission under the No. 782903232 and is therefore a properly constituted, non-profit organisation. It belongs to its members each of whom have equal voting rights.

We are calligrapher from different countries, living in Vienna and what connect us is our passion to the written word.
